War Through the Generations' reading challenge focus is World War II.
Even though this challenge started on January 1, 2009, there is still time to join the challenge until December 31, 2009.
All you have to do is read five books relating to WWII before the end of the year. You've already read three so far this year, you say? That's great! You can still count them. Just publish a post on your blog with your list of five books (more if you are so inclined), and officially sign up at the War Through the Generations Challenge site. Then, leave a message at You've GOTTA read this! telling me you're in! You also don't have to have a blog to join. Everyone is welcome here! Check the blog for further details on the giveaway.
My five books are:
1. The Apple
2. A Cup of Tears: A Diary of the Warsaw Ghetto by Abraham Levin
3. A Letter to My Children From the Edge of the Holocaust by Abraham J. Klausner
4. Children of the Flames: Dr. Josef Mengele and the Untold Story of the Twins of Auschwitz by Lucette Matalon Lagnado, Sheila Cohn Dekel
5. Forgotten Holocaust: The Poles Under German Occupation by Lukas and Norman Davies
